Heesen Yachts has announced the christening and delivery of the 49.98-metre Heesen superyacht ALP. Previously known as YN20350 and Project Jade, the yacht was delivered from Hellevoetsluis, South Holland.

Delivered as the third yacht in the Heesen 5000 Aluminium series, ALP was last seen in April 2024, while completing rigorous sea trials in the North Sea in preparation for her maiden voyage to the Mediterranean. Read: 50m Heesen superyacht ALP (ex. Project Jade) on sea trials

ALP features exterior design by Omega Architects and naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Her interior design comes from the design boards of Cristiano Gatto Design, who has designed her with a contemporary yet cosy feel.Sitting just below the 500 GT mark, ALP was sold in February 2024, with Jim Evans of SuperYachtsMonaco introducing the buyer. She is composed of aluminium and features a reverse sheer bow, that is said to improve visibility from the wheelhouse and accentuate her profile.

With her interior spanning 380 square-metres, ALP can accommodate up to 12 guests across a five stateroom configuration, with her owner's suite situated on the main deck forward. Her remaining guest staterooms consist of two double staterooms and two twin staterooms on the lower deck. ALP boasts generous exterior decks, with an expansive sundeck which is partially protected by a hardtop. The sundeck also includes a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads aft, a fully equipped bar and dining area and a seating area forward.

The wheelhouse deck aft terrace is ideal for alfresco dining, thanks to flush sliding doors, which seamlessly connect to the sky lounge, creating a vast outdoor indoor area. While her main deck aft sports raised sunpads and an adjacent bar.Thanks to her shallow draft of just 2.1-metres, ALP is the ideal yacht to explore destinations such as the Bahamas, Portofino and Saint Tropez. In terms of performance, ALP is powered by twin MTU IMO Tier III engines, offering her top speeds of 23 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
