AllianceJet Debuts a New Look for its Bombardier Global 6000

The 10-year-old super twinjet has undergone a comprehensive refurb of its exterior and interior

Private jet charter company AllianceJet has unveiled a dramatic new look to its Bombardier Global 6000. Working with design agency Winch Design, the long-range, super twinjet has undergone a comprehensive makeover, which sees its interiors and exteriors completely refitted.

The 10-year-old Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft has been chattering guests for AllianceJet since 2020, logging approximately 2,000 charter flying hours since. While that makes the jet, mechanically speaking, practically brand new for a large jet (which has a lifespan of up to 70,000 hours), aesthetically, the jet needed a facelift. That's where Winch Design comes in.

The refurbishment project coincided with a 120-month scheduled maintenance inspection – which also saw SatCom Direct Ka Band high-speed broadband internet installed for passenger and crew use – and was undertaken at Bombardierʼs facility at London Biggin Hill Airport.

Debuting its new look at the recent EBACE 2024, the Global 6000 now dons a striking new exterior livery, designed by Winch Design and painted by General Atomics in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. It features a modern and dynamic pattern with a pearlescent white graphic on a metallic, teal-colored fuselage and winglets. Matching style with substance, the design is more than just visually stunning, introducing an industry-first QR code that passengers can scan to see which of their trips have been offset with carbon credits.

While Winch's usual repertoire is yachts, working with specialists F/List, the company has swapped the seas for the skies, and the Global 6000's interiors have been completely transformed, too. Gone are any remains of lackluster glossy cabinetry or tacky gold fixtures, and in its place is a calmer color palette of soothing blues with natural-colored leathers and walnut timber accents. Throughout the cabin, the mid and forward bulkheads are adorned with slatted wooden screens, separating the space and providing privacy.
