Silent-Yachts unveils new images of the 37m Silent 120 Explorer yacht

Silent-Yachts has unveiled new images of the 36.74-metre Silent 120 Explorer yacht. The impressive flagship solar catamaran is able to create enough energy to not only power the yacht but all of her appliances onboard.

The first Silent 120 Explorer yacht is currently in-build with an expected launch date of 2024. The aluminium Silent 120 yacht has a huge interior volume but remains under the 500 GT mark with powerful styling and interior design by Marco Casali.

The Silent 120 Explorer yacht has custom design at the heart of her philosophy, with the first hull featuring a swimming pool on the aft deck and grassy areas for walking dogs on her side decks. Her solar hardtop is also designed to slide out in two sections revealing a touch-and-go helipad. When not in use, the upper sun deck can be used for sunbathing.

The Silent 120 Explorer yacht offers her future owners the opportunity to travel further with a potentially unlimited range. She is equipped with solar panels on her roof, with the addition of back-up generators for fast running. As a result of this, she is able to cruise at a comfortable eight knots and can reach a top speed of 16 knots.

Silent-Yachts has also collaborated with VRCO and U-Boat Worx to offer both aircraft and submarines for the new Silent 120 Explorer. Her catamaran hull form, combined with her compact electric propulsion units offers significant space that enables the yacht to carry both a revolutionary eVTOL aircraft and an all-electric two person submarine. As well as this, she has the ability to carry all the usual tenders and toys demanded on a superyacht.
