Oceanco and designer Jay Aberdoni have shared further details and images of the 80-metre superyacht concept Standby. Developed as part of Oceanco's Simply Custom collection, Standby is one of 12 new exterior designs that were unveiled earlier this month.

The Simply Custom collection by Oceanco represents a curated portfolio of 27 innovative superyacht designs, each tailored to embody unique lifestyles and visions. Rather than offering a standardised range, the collection provides a starting point for owners to customise their yachts extensively, with contributions from leading designers from around the world.

Defined by sleek and smooth lines, Standby displays a powerful silhouette with a rounded near vertical bow, emphasising both strength and elegance. The design balances modern aesthetics with timeless appeal, creating a yacht that commands attention on the water, while maintaining a sense of understated sophistication.

"The name Standby is more than just a name. It is a representation of what this design means, an ode to time," explained designer Jay Aberdoni. "There is a 'stillness' that envelops the lines and surfaces of Standby. Her presence is not loud, but yet profound.".
