The 82.9-metre Feadship superyacht Project 712 hit the water for the first time this week

The 82.9-metre Feadship superyacht Project 712 hit the water for the first time this week. She was first pulled out of the Feadship Scheepswerf Slob facility, just outside of Rotterdam over the weekend and then transported to Aalsmeer, close to Amsterdam, where she'll be completed.

SuperYacht Times' content creator Ruben Griffioen was hot on her heels as she navigated the picturesque Dutch waterways, capturing the full journey. Before entering the shed at Aalsmeer the upper deck of her superstructure was married onto the sub-2000 GT superyacht.

Project 712's naval architecture and engineering was conceived by De Voogt Naval Architects, and her forthcoming interior design was created by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Notably, Sinot and Feadship have now collaborated on 17 superyacht projects, including the 92-metre Aquarius, the 87.78-metre Fountainhead.
