Ashish Gupta, founder of design studio BeyonDesign has unveiled the renderings of its new 72-metre superyacht concept The Young 72. The Young 72 yacht showcases a futuristic exterior design which will be a great platform, specifically tailored toward an Asian, Middle-Eastern, Indian clientele, the Maldives to South-East Asia.

The Young 72 features a muscular exterior with two leading chrome steel lines which her designer says 'transform into the owner's eyes and eyebrows.' The result is a seamless exterior reminiscent of a raised eyebrow with a sharp vertical bow.

BeyonDesign says the superyacht is especially designed for entrepreneurs around the 40-55 age range due to her 'aggressive, compact and deceivingly voluminous' design. The Young 72offers a sense of freedom from her seamless deck circulation, with a uniquely designed owner specific design that provides spectacular views from any point. 

The Young 72 features a calm alfresco dining area connected strategically to the pool and grand skylit staircase on either side. Her central corridor with an increasing height of 2.3-metres leads to her double-height saloon with a spectacular 3.4-metre beam and ocean views both port and starboard. The area can also be converted into a performance stage with a DJ and bar area.

The Young 72 superyacht is able to accommodate up to 14 guests across seven staterooms with four VIP guest staterooms situated on the entertainment deck with access to the games lobby.

Her owner's suite is located on a private deck which includes an open-air cinema aft, with a private family lounge and two adjoining 'teenager' suites that open up into the spacious owner's suite which overlooks the foredeck helipad. The owner's suite also benefits from a folding balcony on each side that opens up into a massage/ spa area.

The owner's deck of The Young 72connects seamlessly to an awe-inspiring wrap-around aft bridge design on the entertainment deck, also coined the 'waving bridge.' This area is perfect for welcoming VIP guests onboard when they enter through the beach deck below.

The bridge deck of The Young 72includes a fully-functional owner's office which opens onto a personal terrace. This leads to an impressive conference room that doubles up as a private dining area with direct access to the captain's cabin. From here there is access to the wheelhouse with wide deck wings.
