Damen Yachting has announced that the third Amels 60 superyacht began her sea trials this week in the North Sea. The 60-metre motor yacht is part of the Limited Editions series and is currently for sale with her builder Damen Yachting.

The third Amels 60 yacht features a distinctive exterior design by Espen Øino with signature geometric windows and naval architecture from Damen Yachting. She also boasts a contemporary interior design, penned by UK-based studio Winch Design.

The Amels 60 offers a generous arrangement with accommodation for up to 12 guests and 13 crew. Her owner's suite situated on the main deck includes a seven square-metre balcony and a full-beam ensuite bathroom, as well as a walk-in wardrobe forward.

The remaining four staterooms are situated on the lower deck, alongside her beach club. All of her staterooms are able to sleep two guests and include beautifully appointed ensuite bathrooms.

The design of the Amels 60 yacht features one of the largest sundecks in this size range, at 162 square-metres. This expansive area contains a Jacuzzi with a swim-jet function for up to six guests, a shaded alfresco dining area, bar, and a cinematic set-up for movie nights. She is also equipped with a touch-and-go versatile helipad that can also be used as a sunbathing spot or a unique gym area.

The beach club onboard the Amels 60 yacht features direct access to the water from her swim platform, as well as a sauna, a steam shower, a choice of seating and ample storage for water toys. She also has a hidden storage system on her foredeck, which is capable of holding two tenders.

In terms of performance, the Amels 60 superyacht is equipped with the most advanced hybrid propulsion system supplied by Amels so far. The system is able to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, while protecting the lifespan of the generators and the main engines.
