This tremblant basket brooch features at its base an untreated South Sea pearl of splendid luster in the center of a stylized basket set with pavé-set round diamonds. 

The cast of flowers and leaves bears 21.50 carats of fiery colored stones (9.08 carats of faceted blue sapphire, 5.33 carats of ruby, 1.43 carats of emerald and 5.66 carats of yellow sapphire). The brooch is set with a total of 20.30 carats of diamonds (16.15 carats of round white diamonds, 2.50 carats of fancy cut white diamonds, and 1.65 carats of fancy colored diamonds). 

All stones are of excellent quality (F/VVS for white diamonds). The magnificent brooch is entirely handmade in 18k white and yellow gold by the grand master Pasquale in our workshop in Italy, based on an original design by Ella Gafter. The workmanship is a feat of engineering and planning, 3 of the main flowers are set en tremblant, a complicated technique and rarely practiced today. This exceptional know-how translates into a jewel worthy of a museum, perfectly harmonious and balanced. The article is signed Ellagem.
